Furnace repair filter: Can any Mefites recommend someone for furnace repair in Vancouver?

I hate posting local questions to Meta but I've had a nightmare of visits and revisits with one local plumbing and heating co for the past 3 weeks and the furnace still doesn't work right, can any recommend someone that they have experience with?

I can't.

I can, however, recommend that you consult a mental Rolodex for friends who are happy renters and seem to think their landlord does a bang-up job, then contact that landlord and ask who (especially if the landlord has multiple properties) s/he uses for HVAC stuff.

I've used this method for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work in the past -- a landlord with 8+ apartments to take care of generally knows who the competent and reasonably priced service people in town are.

I've had really good work done by Sure Heating Services. They immediately pin-pointed a problem that a previous company had failed at repairing numerous times. In my case it was a hot water heating system but check to see if they do forced-air as well at (604) 879-0908.

I called Kerrisdale Gas, they were amazingly awesome.
