How do I find out which battery is compatible with my laptop? (Toshiba Satellite L300-1A8)

Hey all,

I got a laptop sent to me from Europe as a gift, unfortunately the battery lasts on 2 hours and 30 minutes. I am hoping to replace it with something that lasts longer.

I saw http://www.laptopbattery.net/toshiba/ but I am unable to locate L300 series on their drop-menu.

Take the battery out, look for a model number stamped on the battery and google that. Then in the upper left hand corner of the google page, click Shopping. There's your prices.

2.5 hrs is decent, but a backup battery is good to have. If the thing is already a few years old, get a generic and save a few bucks.

You just needed to try another site. I've purchased from atbatt.com in the past, although it's been a few years. Here's the battery you're looking for.
