Need a therapist who specializes in anxiety and CBT in the St. Louis / West St. Louis County area.

For a person who has anxiety and panic attacks associated with their job, and probably some depression in the mix as well. They've been coping with Xanax and smoking, neither of which work.

PM me if you don't want to post. Thank you!

Jan Brautigam is wonderful lady. Her husband is equally nice, but may have retired.
Based in St. Charles on First Capital now, I believe.
Through "Rohen and Associates."

636-946-1500 is the number I have.

Good luck.

St. Louis Behavorial Medicine Institute is THE place to go in my not-so-humble opinion.

I have OCD and lots of fun anxiety related problems. I have been going there for some time and my life has made a 180 turnaround. They have a whole range of doctors specializing in different anxiety disorders. They also have M.D.'s on staff to manage medicines should you and your doctor decide that is a desirable course.

I personally see Dr. Erikalin Ashton and I can't say enough good things about her and the institute. It may sound like a cliche, but I really feel they gave me my life back.

As an added bonus, they have lots of different therapy types, from one-on-one counseling and CBT training to intense workshops. I think they even have in-patient options.

314-534-0200, located on Macklind Ave. just a bit away from the Science Center. They may have a satellite office further out in the county but it is well worth the trek into the city. Good luck!
