Is there a list of types of graphs, charts and diagrams somewhere?

Has someone made a list of all the types of charts/graphs/visualization types say from the books by Bretin / Tufte / Tukey etc? Wikipedia has something similar here: Diagrams or Charts. The idea is a simple list of graph names/techniques that one can quickly scan through while planning an infoviz. Anyone?

It’s not a list, but you should check out Information Graphics: A Comprehensive Illustrated Reference. It’s 400+ pages of examples.
