Lost Track from Kate Smith

Matt's thread about God Bless America reminded me: When I was a kid and Kate Smith had a hit record of God Bless America, there was talk that she had a follow-up song that was never released called God Is An American. I have never been able to track it down, but it might be suitable for today if the recording exists. Has anyone ever heard of it? Or failing that can someone write one quick and get it online?

I forgot to add, that perhaps John Ashcroft could be persuaded to record it.

The Bowie song is "I'm Afraid of Americans", but the closing line of that song is "God is an American".
