How 'bout them O's?

ShoppingFilter: baseball Jersey help.

I'm looking to buy a very specific baseball jersey, either authentic or a high-quality replica. It'd be a 1960's-70's Baltimore Orioles jersey customized with the name and number (front and back) of pitcher Dave McNally. I'd like it to be a button-up jersey with sewn on numbers, either home or away. I expressly do not want the modern-day black jerseys or the pullover ones. I've been searching online and whiffing. Anyone know a good source-online or NYC-area bricks & mortar-for this item?

When Major League teams do Turn-Back-the-Clock, Ebbets Field or Mitchell and Ness do them. Ebbets Field doesn't have a license for Major League teams, though - that's why you'll only find Negro League or minor league teams there.

If you can't find an authentic one from ebay or wherever, the only place I can think to try is Mitchell & Ness, and try to see if they'll sell you a blank. They currently show 1966 Jim Palmer & Brooks Robinson jerseys in 3 different styles, so you could theoretically get a blank one and find a tailor to do the custom name & number. Barring that, you might be able to talk someone into making one custom.

I checked the Mitchell and Ness website, and they have Brooks Robinson from the same era, but not McNally. They might make you a custom one off jersey.

The mlb.com store will supposedly let you make a custom jersey, but they are temporarily out of stock(?).

Best answer: There is an ebay seller who sells customized throwback Orioles jerseys. This is an example.
