Question: I want a rotisserie chicken tonight; please help...

My sister gave me a slightly used convection oven/rotisserie cooker and the manual is missing. It's a Cook's Essentials/QVC brand and I can't find any information on it at all...

It appears to have all the pieces it came with but I have no clue how to use this thing. A pretty thorough online search yielded very little information about the oven itself, let alone a manual or how to use it.

Details: Cook's Essentials model #910200 (120VAC/60HZ/1500 watts)

Also, should I be concerned with this recall of the sister model??

I'd call QVC at (800) 367-9444 about both the recall and the manual. If your model is newer, then perhaps the recall issue was fixed. If you do use it before calling QVC, do not leave the oven unattended. I'd check it every five minutes while cooking if you are concerned about a fire hazard.

But if you really want to try it, why not check a manual for a similar machine, like the Toastermaster convection oven with rotisserie?

You can also do a search for convection rotisserie chicken recipes for specific instructions for the chicken meal. I'd assume instructions would be similar for most models.

Best of luck!

You should be concerned with the recall. Someone I know buys a lot of QVC house-brand stuff and a large percentage is later subject to recall.

Thanks for the info so far, everyone. I'll call QVC and find out what the deal is.

I've found with other companies if you just submit a request via their website they will e-mail PDFs of manuals. Miele has done this for me several times. These guys may do it too.
