Question: source for translucent sheet of film similar to what they use for "blue blocker" sunglasses?

Does anyone know where I could order a pre-made glass/plastic sheet or a resin to coat a translucent piece of plastic or glass? Something similar to the color and tint they use on the lens of those cheesy blue blocker sunglasses.

I need to make a screen with this tint for the front of a computer monitor. Maybe there is something pre-made as well?

There's anti glare screens you can get.

You would have to tape them over the screen but we use these Irlen overlays or these NRS colored overlays for students with reading difficultites or dyslexia. I never thought of putting them over a computer screen though...good idea! I have also purchased colored cellophane from a hobby store and used it to cover the lights in my classroom to cut the florescent glare but it would probably cause too much distortion over a computer screen. You could use see-through colored plastic tab dividers or report covers in a pinch but they are usually too shiny.

Auto window tint may be what you are looking for. It comes in many colors including the reflective blue you referred to. Look like it would be easy enough to put on.

You could also try TAP Plastics.

"There's anti glare screens you can get." Tried many many glare screens throughout the years, it's a the specific orange I need at times.

I've actually been into the Tap plastics locally, unfortunately they don't have what I'm looking for.

Hobby shop and the colored cellophane are good ideas (like the overlays they use when lighting in photography:) ) That gave me some more ideas to investigate.

Feel free to keep them coming.

You might try event lighting (theater, film, video, and concert lighting) supply and find a filter or gel in the right color.

Unfortunately they're often quite expensive since they are usually industrial strength and made to survive long exposure to super hot lighting elements.
