NYC couples massage

Do you know a good couples massage place in the upper east side NYC?

Looking for a place to get a couples massage in NYC. We had one on our honeymoon (side by side massage), and would like to do it again when we visit New York City.

We are staying on the upper east side. Juvenex was recommend in this thread, but we wanted to do it Saturday afternoon before an early dinner near Washington Square, however it looks like no men until the evening are allowed at Juvenex.

Price range 400-500 total, although if you know a deal that would be good too. Looking for romantic, but not too over the top for a couple in their late 20s.

Best answer: Juvenex is not going to be what you are looking for. I am a Korean Spa fanatic and went to Juvenex once, during the day, before it was co-ed. Even during the day I didn't like it. It reminds me of Plato's Retreat (or rather, of course, what my mind has as a vision of Plato's Retreat because I was, like, 8 at the time). Bleah.

Oasis Day Spa has couple's massage, and I have sent my sister there for non-couples massage, and she is very, very. very, picky about her massage places. It is not on the upper east side (but neither is juvenex, which is also nowhere near washington square, either), but is convenient to both the UES and Washington Square. (Can I assume you're going to Babbo?)

Did you ask your hotel for recommendations? I'd start there. Mr. Cestmoi and I once had that in-room and it was great. Wasn't in NYC though.

Otherwise, here's the list from NY Mag, if none of these offer it, they'll probably know who does. I once had a great facial (I know, not what you asked) at the Peninsula's spa looks like they have a couple's room.

Even if it didn't have a specific room with two massage tables, a hotel could accommodate an in-room massage for couples (depending on the size of your room). Check with the spa or the concierge.

Response by poster: I'm going to call the Oasis today, thanks for you help. The hotel was not much of a help, no concierge and the front desk person suggested massage places but those didn't have rooms with two tables. I'll try to remember to update the thread, to let you know how it went.

Response by poster: For future people, we went to Oasis, it was wonderful! I also recommend the add on an instruction on how to give a massage.
