Where can I buy strings of purple LEDs over-the-counter in the (SF) Bay Area? Maybe even with a post-holiday discount?

You might want to check out your closest Cole Hardware, they had a good selection of different types of LED's for the holidays. I wouldn't wait too long though, I know they're already clearing out their holiday selection.

Ace Hardware also had a large selection. I don't remember specifically seeing purple, but then I was looking for blue.
