Canadian Identity theft laws?

In Canada (Quebec), what laws exist against identity theft? More specifically, against identity theft for the purpose of defrauding third parties using the stolen identity.

There are laws against fraud, of course, but are there any laws specific to the identity theft in such a situation?

Best answer: s. 403 of the Criminal Code (which applies throughout Canada, since criminal law is a federal sphere) prohibits fraudulently impersonating someone.
