help! i need somebody

hi. i have a close friend who has promised to speak with a psychologist with some nous in narcissism. she lives in supposedly peaceful Hiawassee, Georgia. i'm pacing another continent.

i'm smart enough to know i can't help her in any concrete way with the Pacific between us, but i would like to hold her to her promise; she needs coping strategies to avoid further harm and ways to get her feet back on the ground. her last five years came from nowhere.

can anyone recommend a suitably experienced psychologist nearby Hiawassee GA? it would be much appreciated.

From your description, she find a licensed marriage and family therapist to be more affordable and equally experienced in therapy for all but the most severe cases. An MFT would also refer her to a psychiatrist who could prescribe medication if it is needed. For specific names, you can go to Therapist Locator and enter her zip code (30546, I think). There is one therapist in town and two more within 15 miles.
