mac photobook for UK?

I would like to produce a quality photo wedding album with Mac based software, but find iPhoto a little too limited. Searching this forum and others has pointed me to Blurb, but they don't ship to the UK. Any suggestions?

That's just wrong. Blurb even has a printing operation set up in Holland, there is no way they do not ship to the UK. Searching the internet it seems like a lot of people in the UK do use it. Check out their shipping page: Blurb ships to the following countries and territories: [...] United Kingdom'.

Yep, I can confirm Blurb ship to the UK. In fact, I just got a book of my wedding, made by my family using Blurb.

Note, the BookSmart software they use is great if you're not used to professional layout programmes like Quark or Indesign, and a major PITA if you are.

Pro tip: Find the page dimensions of your target book. Do all the layout yourself. Save resulting layout as images the size of your target page. Use these, and the "full page image" template on every page of whatever book print service you choose.

Aside from having no control over the font used on the book spine, you can do a lot that way that wouldn't be possible with the limited range of design choices and fonts built into most of these programs. It's pretty much the decision I've come to, and plan to try it the next time I want to do a photo book.

Response by poster: Sorry my bad; I got Blurb mixed up with Smilebooks, who don't ship to the UK.
