How to watch Arsenal FC on my iBook G4?

How can I watch English Premier League Football games on my mac?

I have tried JustinTv but that is unreliable at best as the streams are constantly buffered and slowed by the dim-witted chatting in the chatrooms and channels are often shutoff due to copyright policies.

I am running an iBook G4 and have also pursued P2P but that is not something readily available for mac from what I have read and seen.

If it helps, I am looking for Arsenal FC games in particular. Thank you all in advance for your help!

I use Setanta Broadband for the matches I can't get on Fox or GolTV - like Arsenal v Portsmouth on the 28th.

Best answer: Research sopcast (it's available for Mac, but I have no idea how to use it on there; a quick search implies you might need Crossover to do so), then check out myp2p.eu. It sometimes takes multiple tries for a game to work, so if there's a more legal method it'd almost guarantee to work better, but it does work pretty well typically.

Not that you or I would ever do anything illegal to see EPL football, but searching mininova.org for 'Arsenal' might turn up some interesting material. Of course when one's testicles drop one can also search on 'Manchester United'.........:)

Ah hell. Drop me a mefi mail. I'll be watching the game over sopcast on Sunday. I'am pretty sure I can share that with you.

You will need VLC for that though.

Response by poster: Thank you everyone for your help. I do not have an intel mac so with your suggestions I have deduced that I must either use ustream links or continue working through JustinTv until I get a new computer.

Thanks again!
