Is there a cell phone that organizes sms, email, and phone call log information on a per contact basis?

A friend of mine sends out blackberry messages, text/sms messages, emails, and basic phone calls...she's able to remember every interaction with her contacts.

I am unable to do this, and she explained to me that cell phones can log different interactions and organize them on a per contact basis?

What model/application of phone enables such functionality?

The iPhone does some of this. The recent calls, both incoming and outgoing, are listed by contact name or, if their name isn't in your contacts list, by phone number in the recent activity list, and it's very easy to read through at a glance. SMSes are kept like instant messages, grouped by person. Email isn't kept by person in any way though.

Same goes for any Windows Mobile, but it sounds similar to the iphone in structure

You can easily create smart folders in Gmail or MobileMe (for each contact/group/&c) and use IMAP to sync that to iPhone. I have special folders for various groups: work-related, family, professional listservs, &c.
