How much money will change hands over the internet this year?

Where could I find figures projecting the amount of money exchanged via e-commerce over the coming year, or figures tracking that same amount over the past year?

Your expanded post probably makes this question irrelevant, but did you mean all transactions that are somehow processed over the internet, or all transactions where the origin of the sale (i.e. an online interface) was the internet?
