Does the Blackberry 8310 curve's browser have a maximum password length?

One of our users has a BB8310 and claims he cannot get into an application we support that has a 12 character password.

He says it stops him at 10 characters. Size for the field is = 10 , but maxlength isn't.

Can't post the HTML to metafilter, there is no maxlength set, but the size="10".

I don't have a BB available to test with, so I figured I'd query the hive mind.

You can test this yourself. You can emulate the blackberry browser on a PC by installing the Blackberry JDE and running an app called MDS.

I can submit the password "1234567890abcdefg" just fine, and it is returned to me.

BlackBerry 8703e (older than the Curve... so if it supports it, the curve should!)
