Over Thanksgiving, I learned that my father was a stand in for John Vernon in the 1980 film It Rained All Night The Day I Left. Where can I find a copy?
I would love to find the entire movie, but at the very least, I am looking specifically for a night scene where John Vernon's character exits a jeep and walks to a door - that would be my dad. It appears that this was never released in the US so I'm at a loss of where I could find the movie. I did see it listed here on eBay, but it's on VHS and would like to keep that as a last resort. Does anyone have any good resources for hard-to-find old movies that I should try?

yep, looks like you can get a vhs shipped to you for like $4 - you can take it to an area video editing place to turn it into a DVD for under $50, i bet! how cool!
