S&L/Bank Commercials from 1970s ID

Can anyone help me ID a series of savings and loan commercials that aired during the 1970s? They featured a gaunt-looking fellow holding a chicken; the actor also appeared in Blazing Saddles as a naked guy covered in soap. I saw the spots growing up in Southern California so they may have been regional. I just can't remember the name of the S&L. Thanks in advance!

I know this is likely a shot in the dark, but have you thought about looking at the full cast credits for Blazing Saddles, seeing if you can pick him out, then checking for the actor's other credits?

I'd forgot those commercials until now. Was it Coast Federal Savings?

Was the soapy guy Hedly Lamarr (Harvey Korman)?

I also grew up in SoCal and remember those commercials and that actor. I'm certain you are thinking about Patrick Campbell. Those commercials were for Aames Home Loan, and they were terrific.

Response by poster: That's it Mountain Goatse, thanks! I did look up BS on IMDB, tcv, and couldn't find him since there were no listings for "soapy naked guy" in the cast.
