Poetry Blogs?

Does anyone know any good poetry blogs? Like, just something that updates with new poems fairly regularly. Google turned up some stuff, but it's tough separating wheat from chaff, especially with something as hit-or-miss as poetry.

Are you looking for one poet regularly posting new poems or a blog of poems from all sorts of random places? What sort of poetry do you like?

The Writer's Almanac is many things, and also brings a hand picked poem dailily.

Response by poster: I was looking for original poems. I have plenty of poetry anthologies, but I don't really know anything about contemporary poetry.

Response by poster: Also, how did I not know about The Writer's Almanac? Garrison Keillor reading poetry every day? HELL YES.

Kind of a shitty thing to do, but self-link. And then there's this guy, who is kind of interesting and writes pretty frequently.

Unfortunately, I can't list any other original poetry blogs for the reason you state above. There are tons of them, mostly unreadable. I'd be interested to find some more, too.

It's not a blog per se, but if all your looking for is something fresh every morning, Bartleby has a poem of the day posted directly on the front page.

My friend who teaches poetry at NYU has a blog where she puts her own poems and other thoughts (which are usually also poetic), here.

I really enjoy the daily rhyme, but he himself describes it as "not quite poetry." It's fun, anyway

What sort of poetry are you interested in? Any particular writers you admire? Are you looking for newcomers or established authors? I have a website of poems and such (hope that was ok to mention), but again, it all depends on the kind of work you like. Fill us in with more detail so we can help out!

The Poetry Archive isn't a blog, but has tons of good poetry, lots read out by the poets themselves!
