Recommend multiplayer web-based strategy games

Good, multiplayer, web based strategy games. They have to be out there. None have quite done it for me yet, for which I should be thankful but am not.

Well, I may be partial since the guys behind it are old online pals of mine, and I was a beta tester so got hooked up early on... But give a try to Ages of Glory, it's a nice war strategy game in the medieval fantasy theme, with some very interesting twists for a plain browser game (world maps, character classes, collaborative administration of cities). And it's free, to boot.

I used to waste work time playing Bordello Battles, but it is a bit "seedy."
