Obama T-shirts

Do you think Barack Obama's face is on more shirts than anyone else?

His image has to be on more shirts than any other politician, but do you think its more than like rock icons? I would think Marilyn Monroe would be up there.

Is there anyway to actually know this? It should be in the Guiness Book of Records or something.

Does anyone else find it a bit odd to be wearing a politician's image on a t-shirts? I mean it's one thing to wear a shirt with his name but his face? I mean he's a handsome guy and all but I can't really think of anyone's face I want to be wearing on my chest.

This post was deleted for the following reason: this is sort of a rambly I'm-not-sure-what-the-question-is question which might be good over at bigbigquestion but it's a bit of a stretch for here. -- jessamyn

I prefer quality over quantity. But yeah, Che's got Obama beat. For now.

Che certainly outnumbers Obama, but I bet Jesus outnumbers Che.

Bob Marley, John Lennon, and James Dean shirts are also popular. But do you really have a question, or did you just want to say that you don't like Obama face shirts?

As for political figures on t-shirts, Che and Mao have been rocking the t-shirts for a long time now. And maybe the Queen of England on that god save the queen t-shirt.

Response by poster: Sorry - if that is unclear. I don't dislike them I just find it odd. I am honestly curious how many Obama shirts are out there in comparison to other people.

I doubt many people outwith the US are wearing Obama tshirts. Therefore I doubt his image is the most popular face on a tshirt.

I think that since t-shirts are such a decentralized industry where ripoffs and homemade shirts are aplenty, this question is unanswerable with actual facts.

It's ok to dislike them! The problem the questioners here have is that the way your question is phrased comes off as chatty. See the FAQ for details.

And what's up with rap music? It's not music, it's just noise!

Does anyone else find it odd that kids would want to listen to that garbage? I mean, it's one thing to appreciate poetry, but to rhyme over sampled beats? What's that all about?
