What are your favorite websites/blogs enlisting the arts/culture/music events happening in your city at any time? I am especially interested in events in larger Canadian cities.

I am looking for any websites to learn about local and/or underground art shows, gallery events, readings, small social artsy events, music live shows (local/small ones are okay), lectures, indie movie screenings and other. I travel a lot in Canada, so it would be nice to know where to look when I am in a particular city, but all suggestions for other cities are welcome.

Thank you!

There is a regular discussion of Canadian culture. However, this is Chicago based.

www.badatsports.com a weekly art review podcast.

These are for Montreal.

Blogs: Midnight Poutine (heavy on music), Spacing Montreal (urban studies), Indyish
Alt weeklies: Hour and the Mirror. (French equivalents are Voir and Ici.)
Specifically for music: Blue Skies Turn Black are the big uh indie-rockish promoters, this calendar lists a lot of shows
