Studying for Real Estate Broker's exam

I am studying for the Real Estate Broker's exam for California. I am awful at studying in general, and have little to no real estate experience. I am not currently a Real Estate Agent. I've taken the test once, and didn't score so hot the first time and I'd like to take it only one more time. Anybody take it and pass and have some words of advice, such as study methods, programs, or books?

I'm taking Principles at a CC right now and was talking with the prof about the broker sequence, or lack thereof, offered at the school. FWIW he recommended I go with these guys to fill in the classes that aren't offered in a timely manner or are too elemental to waste my time with a full quarter of in-class coverage.

I assume you have finished the 8-class sequence, yes? Where and how did that fail you?

Sign up with RE Trainers. It is two 8-hour classes over one weekend and it covers EVERYTHING on the test and nothing more. Best money I ever spent-you don't even have to really study after these classes, you just recall what you've learned the weekend before.
