Can you identify this implement?

Apologies for the poor quality camera phone shot as I don't have my regular camera with me. This was sent to me as a promotion with the clue that it is in something you use everyday and that "A river runs through it". If you help me identify it I'll drink a Starbucks latte to your health!

Whip finishing tool for fly-tying. You know, fly-fishing "a river runs through it"?

kuujjuarapik has it, it's a A Thompson Whip Finisher.

Yep. I think kuujjuarapik is right. Dunno how common a fishing fly is, though.

Looks like that is exactly what it is. I was thinking it was some kind of internal mechanism for a plumbing fixture or something. Anyways, I'll hoist a free latte in all y'all's honor!
