Question: Time bound

Recommendations for arm band to hold iphone during gym or exercise

I am looking for people's recommendations and warnings for arms bands to hold an already encased iphone 3G. I am planning to do HIIT and weights and want to use the iphone for my interval timings instead of paying for the gymboss timer. What I am looking for:

* no need to remove existing case;

* can handle a lot of vibrations and movement;

* sturdy;

* headphones do not get tangled

Any input from anyone dealing with this is or something similar is welcome.

The easiest way to keep your headphones untangled is to put the head phones through your shirt and out the neck. Keep the headphones behind your head not in front of you.

No advice on armbands. I've never found on I like. :(

No recommendations on armbands, but one non-recommendation FWIW - the zCover. I like it perfectly well as a case, but the detachable armband feature is in no way suitable for even moderate cardio.

Good luck with finding a good armband, like 26.2, I've not found any I particularly like.

I've tried armbands, and none of them seem to be unobtrusive. They are always bothering me for one reason or another.

I usually use an iPod shuffle clipped to my shorts, Sony sports headphones with the ear clip, wires going through my shirt.

The iPod shuffle is $49, and if you lose it its not such a great lost. Fucking up your nice iPhone would be a great loss.
