A hitherto unknown (to me at least) urban legend.

I just went on a run to the corner store. Pips asked me to pick up a bag of Cheetos. Athena (her real name) The Countergirl (i'd put her age around 19-20), a casual acquantianceof ours, was ringing up the purchase. "Cheetos are for my wife, I don't like 'em, I'm a chip guy," I said. "I like Cheetos, they delay a girls period." "Whaaa?" "For like a couple days." "Where'd you hear that?" "I dunno, I just heard it." I realize this is bullshit, but it's always nice to pick up a new urban legend. I'd be interested to know if anyone else knows this one or it's origins.

True? This smacks of the bull semen in Red Bull myth (sorry, WikiAnswers had the most concise rebuttal. Not a source I'd normally use) though...

On 30 Rock, Liz Lemon's bodega-Cheetos gave her false positives on pregnancy tests and delayed her period. But this was just last year, so perhaps it was a response to this myth rather than its source. Google Sabor de Soledad if you want plot summaries, et cetera.
