If you're a musician and you know this song, then you know what I'm talking about. I'm specifically looking for songs with the unique "3 in 3" feel. Any genre welcome (Rock and Jazz preferred).

Probably not what you're looking for, but Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" fits the pattern.

Eric Satie's Gymnopedie No. 1 has precisely the exact same groove.

That list has it as 9/8, but it sounds more like 6/4 to me.

Oh, and to further answer your question, other songs in 6/4:
Canadian rock band April Wine's "Say Hello"
metal band Metallica's "Blackened" (7/4 pre-verse, 6/4 verse and 4/4 chorus)
Gymnopedie No. 1 is 3/4 time I believe, which will have a very similar feel to it, so you may also look for other slow waltzes.

Try 'Peace Piece' by the jazz pianist Bill Evans. Wonderful song.

Listen to the cymbal/snare beat starting around 0:44.

The beat is taken from Talk Talk's New Grass, and I don't think it was cut up to change the signature. So that song wold be a natural place to look.

The Spin Doctor's Refrigerator Car is in 9/8. If you're ever looking for an annoying weekend project that devolves into a shouting match, consider trying to cover it in your pickup band.
