What did you do to promote Barack Obama online during the election season? (see extended explanation!)
There is a meme circulating that Barack Obama won the presidential election in part (if not largely) due to the internet.
There are a few obvious ways the internet contributed, including:
* massive grassroots organization through BarackObama.com and email lists
* increasing exposure to Obama's messages and McCain gaffes through viral stories and videos
* liberal bloggers helped prep and educate supporters on argument points for Obama on nearly every issue / aspect of the campaign
What did you personally do online to promote Barack Obama? This could be emailing, digging up articles, commenting, and many other things. Please share any ways your actions online may have helped Obama during the campaign.

This post was deleted for the following reason: this is chatfilter -- it might be a better fit for politicalfilter or elsewhere, but there's no problem to be solved here along with an "I'll go first" aspect. -- jessamyn
Response by poster: I read and commented on blogs that I agreed with, and tried never to click on a story I had fundamental problems with.
I twittered during all of the debates and tried to point out strong points for each candidate (with an obvious bias for Barack Obama).
I emailed friends and family with articles and personal thoughts that I thought made good points on issues, rather than just emailing anti-McCain spam.
I dugg, and favorited videos and stories that helped make the case for Obama.

(Ok, I did donate to the campaign online, but I also donated online to Ron Paul's campaign, which now that I think of it could be construed as helping Barack Obama...)
