Quick Spanish translation please

This is from a certificate of charitable organization status from Mexico:

"le ha sido asignado con base en los datos que proporcionó, los cuales han quedado registrados conforme a lo siguiente"

I have an idea of what it means but could I please get a definitive rendition.

My Spanish is passable but not fluent, so take my translation for what it's worth. I understand it to roughly mean "based on the data provided, it has been registered in accordance with the following."

A slightly longer excerpt would help put it in context.

youre right , I should have put the full passage:

el servicio de administracion tributaria le da a conocer el registro federal de contribuyentes, que le ha sido asignado con base en los datos que proporcionó, los cuales han quedado registrados conforme a lo siguiente

(then the name of the organization, address, reg #, etc)

More or less:

The Tax Administration Service is informing you the taxpayers federal register that has been assigned to you according to the data you have provided, which has been registered in accordance with what follows.

Don't use Google Translate, please! The translation is awful.

Basically, the SAT (Mexico's IRS) is giving your organization its assigned taxpayer code (RFC), based on the data you gave them (so if it's wrong, you have to rectify it).

The RFC is a code you need to pay taxes and to give invoices or receipts, according to the type of fiscal activity you registred. If this is a charitable organization, I'm almost certain you can give tax deductable invoices to your donors with the RFC.

under "actividad" is stated "servicios no remun educ que comb dif niv ense&an ". I'm not sure what those abreviations are.
The title of this document is "Inscripcion en R.F.C."
What I'm trying to do is prove to a Candadian authority that they are a registered Mexican charity. Is this the correct document?

As a Mexican, I second clearlydemon's translation, it is spot on.

For the second question, this is the right document. It says that the organization is registered with the SAT (Mexican IRS), and that it provides "servicios no remunerados" (free services) in "educacion" (education) "que combina diferentes niveles de enseñanza" (which combine different educational levels)


I was confused by the last part, so I looked up the relevant codes, which are:

931202 SERVICIOS NO REMUNERADOS DE EDUCACION PRIMARIA
931203 SERVICIOS NO REMUNERADOS DE EDUCACION SECUNDARIA

I guess this means that your organization provides a mixture of preschool, primary education, secondary education.

dirty lies- thats a bit strange because education is only a small part of what they do, but shouldnt be a problem for us with this document.

When signing up for your RFC, you are required to select a code to describe your type of economic activity. The list is long, full of weird stuff, and behind the times. You usually select what your accountant suggests or what better approximates what you actually do.
