Drycleaning solvent usually does the trick for me. Few hosehold laundry products seem to touch oil or gas.
Take the clothes to a "waterless" wash laundromat. It will cost about four times the price of a regular wash, but is very effective. posted by bonehead at 12:44 PM on September 29, 2004
