What is the best wedding planner certification?

I am interested in adding to my experience as an event producer with wedding planning and have noticed there are many certification programs out there. Is there one in particular that stands out among the rest?

As someone in the middle of planning a wedding for myself, I can tell you that in my opinion a decision to hire a wedding planner or coordinator would not hinge or really be at all swayed by programs or courses. The experience of the planner/coordinator in question, price for services and services packages offered, how well we get along and how easy the communication is between us is more important. I would want them to have more 'experience' with contacts and local vendor knowledge, and I would want to get referrals/feedback from previous customers.

I could pretty much care less if they have a 'wedding planner certificate'.
