They were laughing at what?

Is there a video of people laughing at Biden's story about his wife during the US Vice Presidential Debate?

I've read reports mentioning that this happened, but a search of Youtube, Google, Delicious, and the like don't turn anything up.

I'll try to remember where, but the one I saw wasn't all that impressive visually. It was just a fat woman on a folding chair leaning to her neighbour and making a face (smiling). Disgusting, but was hard to prove that her actions coincided exactly with what was being said on screen at the time.

Sounds pretty doubtful. I sure don't remember hearing any such thing.

BTW -- I did see the video on television. The laughter didn't happen at the debate itself, but amongst a group gathered in Wasilla, Alaska to watch their hometown hero, Palin, debate Biden. The clip was shown widely the next day on CNN and/or MSNBC. I'm searching to see if I can locate it.

It did happen and was recorded by a national news crew with a reporter and producer there to verfiy the account. It was commented on by 'talking heads' the next day. And, yes, one of the primary visuals was "a fat woman on a folding chair leaning to her neighbour and making a face (smiling)".

The Daily Show did a piece on the Wasilla VP Debate watch party.
