I'll vote for "more often than not" myself. Though, I suspect that there is a good deal of difference depending on the specifics of the scene. For example, there are certain positions where it is probably more difficult for the bottom to maintain an erection due to the physical demands of the position (eg. when holding oneself elevated over a seated top a-la gymnastic style).

Something else to consider:
Most pornos are highly edited, even the "100% hot amateur action!!1!" ones. A scene may play as 20 minutes but it took a lot longer to film with breaks between each filming angle.

Hi, I'm a bit late coming (ha! see what I did there?) to the party, but here's my two money shots:
- erection while being penetrated, both in and out of porno, also depends a fair bit on the bottom and how his body reacts to the situation, position, etc. Some guys' peepees become totally flaccid the moment their body's attention is redirected to their anus ("hey! what's going on over here?"), while other guys are hard as steel as soon as you hint at the possibility of maybe possibly stuffing their hoop.
