Question: Craft shops in London?

Please give me recommendations for craft stores in London, UK! Specifically: card making, optional: knitting and soap making/rebatching.

Bonus points for locations around Oxford Street and/or easy access by tube!

And please don't send me off to some distant location or make me get lost, as I only have 1 day in London to do my shopping. ;) Thank you!

Depending on what you're looking for, the department stores might be your best bet - John Lewis on Oxford Street has a decent craft department, including lots of knitting supplies/yarn. Liberty is also good for yarn and worth checking out for its architecture alone!

Loop is a great independent yarn store in Islington (nearest tube Angel, around 15 mins from Oxford Circus)

CASS Arts are craft and art supplies heaven - their big store in Angel includes a whole floor of craft supplies and kit, but they have smaller stores elsewhere too.

There's a great rubber stamps store near me - that is, right next to the LRB and the British Museum.

Paperchase will have a wide range of materials for making cards. There are several in London, but the closest to Oxford Street is probably the one on Tottenham Court Road. It's a big chain store in central London so might not be cheap, but it's probably worth a look.

From Tottenham Court Road tube station at the east end of Oxford Street (about 700m east of Oxford Circus tube) and head north up Tottenham court road. Go past the electronics shops and cinema then paperchase will be somewhere on your right. It's pretty close to Goodge Street tube station, on the opposite side of the road.
