Question: Love my baby, still want an MFA

Do any accredited, respectable, non-residential , MFA Writing programs exist out there?

I've got two things. A little baby and a consuming desire to gain my MFA in Writing. I know many low-residency programs exist, but I can't leave my kid for even a week at a time.

Lots of websites are willing to take my money to enter their "workshops," but that doesn't really appeal to me.

Where can I find information about quality Writing programs aligned with a real college or university, that I can participate in entirely from my computer?

Does such a thing exist?

Warren Wilson College has a well regarded low residency MFA program which may or may not be what you're looking for. I have a friend who graduated from their and she loved it.

Both Goddard College and Vermont College offer low-res writing MFAs. I have mine from Goddard and it was a great experience.

I don't know of any that require no travel at all, that are reputable.

My current school, Goucher College offers a low-residency MFA program as well that's supposed to be really good.

I haven't heard of any zero travel MFA programs either, but Associated Writing Programs lets you use "low residency" in their writing program search, if you want to have a look there. The forums at Poets and Writers and The MFA Blog are other places to ask.

I can't say enough good things about UCLA Extension's writing program.

I do not know if it offers an MFA but it certainly is a quality Writing program aligned with a real college or university, that I can participate in entirely from my computer?
