Where to give for Haiti

Where can I donate clothes for Haiti in New York city?

I have a few bags of good condition clothes I would like to send to Haiti. Where in New York City, preferably, but not limited to Manhattan could i find an organization that is collecting to send over.

I would also not mind shipping it myself.

Also, I searched online where to donate money, and it seems the only group making an effort for the country is Red Cross UK. Is there anyone in the US who is collecting funds as well.

There are places to donate to in Haitian. I toured various missions and fund sites in Port-au-Prince a few years ago. One very impressive site that I visited was the L'Overture Cleary school. The web-site is http://www.haitianproject.org
