Symmetry Magazine has/will have a lot of articles about it, and you can subscribe to the print version for free if you like. They also have a "breaking" section on the website for current news.

Seconding blogs.uslhc.us. It's a group blog written by grad students and staff that are working at CERN (including a good friend of mine!) about their experience there and the LHC. As a non-physicist, I've found it to be pretty accessible and interesting.

Though it's a general physics blog, Cosmic Variance is worth looking at.
