Breathylzer Project Title

My group and I are looking for a creative project title. The project is for a design class. Our idea is to have a locker where people put their keys before a night of drinking, and in order to get the keys back, they must blow into a breathalyzer to prove their ability to drive.

Not sure if it's too important, but we'll be building this from scratch. We're open to any suggestions on what to call it or improvements to the project, if you feel so inclined. Thanks!

Best answer: the KeyKop
KeySentry
KeyGuardian

the BlowBox ? (way to porn-ish :) but I couldnt resist

some kind of acronym that would be the opposite of "DUI" ... like.. uh.... i have no idea

the "KeyULater" (as in "see you later"... as in "if you are smart and lock up your keys then you are likely to live and party another day")

the SoberSafe ?

the "Its cheaper than court" ?

Call it:
"Drunk Tank"
"Liquor Locker"
"Have a Sober Person Blow into this Breathalyzer So You Can Drive Home Drunk"
"An Incredibly Complicated Series of Circuitry and Relays That You Will Understand Less and Less as the Evening Continues"
"The 'You Are Most Certainly NOT Cool to Drive' Machine"

These are getting worse and worse. I'm just going to cut my losses.

How are you going to prevent people from finding a sober friend to blow into it for them? (assuming you could call such a person a "friend") I vote for Key U Later

If you're building from scratch it might be out of reach for the prototype, but this seems like it'd be much more useful as a purse/pocket-size device rather than a "locker." That way it's good for nights out bar-hopping in addition to house parties.

Seconding "The Drunk Tank"

Anything with 2000 in the title always adds class. Using only the examples suggested by others:

Locker Check 2000
Drinking Buddy 2000
SoberSafe 2000
...

nobody's suggested breathalocker yet? not too creative, i admit, but it immediately conveys its function

2nding "BlowBox". It sounds puerile but it's the only thing which (a) describes your thingy and (b) I can picture one fratboy saying to another fratboy. "Haha, I'm wasted, man, let's go back to your place and see if Trina wants to party." "Asshole, your keys are in the BlowBox."

nobody's suggested breathalocker yet?

That's exactly what I was going to suggest. It perfectly conveys the object and its function.

Give Me My Fucking Keys You Piece of Shit will probably become its defacto name.

Seconding Blow n Go or Blowbox. Something else along the safety lines might be StaySafe or BlowSafe. To try making a name that immediately gets the point across isn't nearly as relevant in today's business world (Google and Flickr being two of MANY examples that come to mind). Make sure the thing works, is as simple as humanly possible and is able to deal with real-world situations (drunk person with crowbar, bolt holes to bolt into wall / floor). Getting off-track here, but I'm sure you'll do fine.

Thirding "Drunk Tank". That is some good stuff there.

Btw, Blow n' Go is what they call the breathalyzer ignition switch that you have to get after a DUI.

Response by poster: You guys are amazing. Thank you so much for the input. We went with BlowBox. It's simple, fun, and it gets the point across. Maybe one day, if you all are lucky, you'll get to blow into my box after a night a drinking. That's what she said...
