Why Don't My Attachments Go to Windows Users?

Why are my image attachments (from Mail.app) suddenly not going through to Windows (specifically Eudora) users? I have "Always Send Windows Friendly Attachments" checked.

For a while (I thought), when I sent an image file (doesn't matter if it was .eps, .png or .jpg) to someone using Windows, they got it fine. Now it's not working, and I'm pretty certain I didn't do anything to Mail to change the preferences. Help!

"Now it's not working..."

Define this. Is the attachment just not there on the other end? Is the attachment appearing as something weird? Is the attachment there but not showing up in the receiver's user interface? Mail.app isn't fantastic -- few MUAs are -- but it should be creating messages that comply enough with standards that you should not be expecting problems on the other end.

Create a new user account, try it from that user. This will tell you if it's something isolated to that user or is a change on your computer.

In the mean time, zip the files and they will get them file.

majick is right though, if we don't know what they are getting on the other end, a bit hard to tell you what might be wrong.

Could be they are too big for a mail server at one end.
