Here is a series of five images that all contain some kind of visual trickery or effect: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Does anyone recognize these images or know who the artist may be? I'm assuming they are all by the same hand, which may not be true.

I haven't linked the site where I found them because it has lots of ads and pop-ups, etc., and who knows what else, but if you are curious, you can see the address on the photos.

Wow, Orb! You're amazing! Thank you. Thank you. I'm so happy to see that are many more to look at. I have to go out now, but if I had time I'd make a post about him.

... If anybody feels in the mood to put it up, please do!! If not, I may try to put something together at a later time.

If you like these paintings, there's an elderly European painter named Curt Frankenstein (his real name!) now living in Chicago, who does very similar stuff (and a lot of cheesier pictures, too, unfortunately). In the realm of visual punning, I wouldn't be surprised if Frankenstein weren't this guy's inspiration.

It's mentioned in the biographical info that orb posted above, but the work has a certain whimsy that reminds me of Magritte....taz, y ou might want to look for some of his work as well.

It's always nice to know all that art education of mine isn't going to waste. Now if I could just find some way to become wealthy with it. :D
