I'm emotionally starved for the lols.

Looking for a comic I saw a few months ago. It involved a cat and its owner...

I'm probably misremembering some of the details but it was basically: owner comes home and cat complains that it's been 1,000 years since he (the cat) has been fed. Owner says he fed the cat this morning. Cat says it's been 1,000 years emotionally.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't xkcd, but it was similar to that style. Yes, I've googled, but I couldn't find it.

Hmm. Well, there's Cat and Girl, but that's not exactly xkcd style. You should be able to tell pretty quickly, though.

Sounds vaguely like "Hey Pais". I'm pretty sure that isn't what you are thinking of, but there are links to other cat comics on the sidebar.

Two Lumps?

It's not Sinfest is it? Sometimes the strips involve a cat and/or dog and their antics are much, well, "cuter" than the strip's usual complement of drug use and sexual innuendo.

Could it have been Jim's Journal? (Sorry, I can't find a better link, but it was drawn in the stick-figure style, and featured a cat named Mr. Peterson.)

Schrodinger? It hasn't been updated in ages, but it was pretty funny, and it sounds like that cat.

not the simon's cat movies (though they are awesome). also not garfield or heathcliff. not the other ones either, though they are all cute.

i know it definitely had the "it's been xxxx time emotionally" thing in it.
