Question: SOS butter stain

Heyyylup! I just got some butter on my new suit. It's all synthetic material, dry clean only. Is there anything I should to between now and when I can get to a dry cleaner in the morning?

It was a nice lemon-sage-garlic butter, it truly was. But I do wish it was not on my suit.

I've successfully removed small to moderate-sized grease stains from clothing using this method:

Put baby powder or corn starch on it and let it sit for a few hours. Brush it out with a dry cloth or brush and the stain (or most of it) should be gone. Repeat as necessary, or just let the powder stay on overnight and see what you get in the morning.

Baby powder works better than cornstarch. (I've tested both.)

But I say: Do nothing. Get yourself to the dry cleaner in the morning. I've interviewed owners of dry cleaning businesses, and home remedies drive them bananas. They will get it out, I promise.

Make sure you point out the stain when you bring it in.

I spilled straight olive oil on my wool pants before and got it out with using the product "Shout." Be sure not to wipe it with water before hand and scrub it thoroughly and the stain should come out.
