Social networking for fabric geeks?

I'm looking for a project management/social networking site for fabric craftspeople, artisans and hobbyists (can include sewing, weaving, whatever) on the MyFolia model. In other words someplace on line where I can organize my projects and connect with other craftspeople. The forums just aren't working for me-- too much chat, not enough organizing.
Best answer: Yeah, Ravelry. The wait is not long at all and you could get your fabric friends to join with you :)

Response by poster: Ravelry looks like the ticket, but how much are they going to care that I do sewing, fabric art and clothing design and no knitting at all?

Not at all, would be my guess. I know several non-knitters on Ravelry.

Do come join Ravelry! There are several groups on Ravelry for sewers, weavers, quilters, and other fiber artists. And you can also create your own groups.

We've actually got a "MetaStitcher" group on Ravelry, but it doesn't get much traffic...

PatternReview has tools of that nature for sewing, but the site is showing its age these days. You have to dig around to find what you're looking for.
I know of nothing for weavers. The rigid heddle lobby notwithstanding, the craft has never taken off in the broader fiber arts online community.
