I need to park my car in downtown fort worth, tx for two days beginning tomorrow. the hotel we are staying at charges 14. per day to valet (no self park). I would love to find a nice safe and inexpensive alternative. we are okay walking a few blocks, and are staying at Commerce and 6th. thanks in advance for helpful suggestions.

Downtown Fort Worth Parking from the City of Fort Worth.

Looks like closest to 6th & Commerce is Allright 47, $7/day.

Street parking is free and plentiful on the weekends. If you're rising early on Monday, most meters run for hours. There are several ten-hour meters about - for sure some around the Downtown Library -- but I'm sure there are others closer.
