Seeking good talk therapist in the greater Norfolk, Virginia Beach area.

I realize it's a long shot, but I thought I would still ask. The list my HMO provides basically forces me to cold call dozens of therapists and make appointments for consultation without having any idea if I'll like them. I'm going on some leads from friends, but I'd like any other opinions. I trust the hivemind to nudge me in the right direction, and possibly save me a few crappy consultations before I find the right person.
